Sprockets are an important part of the system that drives your conveyor. These components are a profiled wheel with teeth on it that lock onto a chain and transmit motion to move the chain. Sprockets are attached to the rotating shafts that come from the motor, all combining to create the drive system for your conveyor that ultimately pushes cars along through your tunnel.
Conveyor rollers and spiders are often made of durable rubber or urethane, materials that will stand up to the high torque of conveyor systems while also having some flexibility to subtly adjusting to the stress without cracking or breaking. Urethane and Buna nitrile rubber provide those benefits while also withstanding high temperatures. We also offer couplings that help redistribute torque and help with minor misalignment in the drive system, maintaining smooth operation and avoiding overheating and abrasion.
