Basic Details of the PTS/PSU Series

These push through positive pressure heaters use a gas burner for combustion. A blower pushes the combusted product through an extended tube that heats your bay or tunnel. The combustion chamber and blower motor are totally enclosed. Aluminum reflectors direct the heat to the space where heat is needed. PTS models use a long straight tube to heat larger spaces. PTU models use two tubes connected with a U-bend, and are effective for spot heating specific areas. Different tube lengths and BTU levels are available in single and two stage options to meet the needs of your space.

Features of the PTS/PSU SS Series with ALC Tubes

ALC (All Calorized Aluminum Steel) emitter tubes are calorized (have aluminum diffused into the steel) to create a highly radiant emissive surface with exceptional corrosion resistance.
Heavy duty, high temperature silicone gaskets. All compartment doors, edges, and access panels have individual gaskets.
Totally enclosed stainless steel burner boxes
Stainless steel control boxes are water resistant and approved for high pressure levels up to 3500 PSI.
Highly effective aluminum reflectors with reflectivity rating of 97.5%
TISS – Tube Integrity Safety System. A low voltage circuit continuously monitors for excessive heat and integrity compromise. In the event of an issue, the circuit is broken and gas controls are shut down.
All components are tested in accordance to ASTM B58 and have passed all corrosion tests.
Tin plated phosphor bronze electrical connectors. Unlike uninsulated brass connectors that are susceptible to ammonia, stress corrosion, and cracks, these connectors offer trouble-free operation in harsh environments.
Stainless steel brackets and flanges ideal for harsh environments.
Direct spark ignition system
Pre-purge and post-purge functions.
5-year limited warranty on the emitter tubes.
