Super Seal 3/4" Insert
This John Guest STSI28 Super Seal Insert is an acetal insert with two o-rings. It is designed for used with 3/4" CTS pipe and fittings. This corrosion and scale-resistant insert is used to create an incredible seal that prevents leaks and weeping. One o-ring is on the stem and stops water from inside the pipe from leaking outside the insert. The other o-ring is inserted inside the fitting and acts as the primary seal between the pipe and the fitting. Using an insert also ensures that pipe has a clean end free of any imperfections from cutting that may hurt the integrity of the seal. The insert also helps pipe and tube maintain consistent shape.
