Bulk Wheel Cleaner
This wheel cleaner formula attacks brake dust and other road grime. It is a popular choice for car wash conveyors or tunnel prep areas. It can be applied manually, through a chemical tire applicator, or in a professional auto detailing shop. Once applied, the wheel cleaner quickly melts away the break dust from vehicle's rims, wheels, and hub caps. Keep in mind that Corvette, Porsche, and aftermarket aluminum rims do not hold up well to acid-based wheel cleaners or strong alkaline cleaners when the rims are hot. On the other hand, you should use an acid-based wheel cleaner when cleaning chrome spoke wheels. Using a brush will also help to remove brake dust.
Owners and operators often inquire about the best wheel cleaner to use at their car wash. High pH cleaners are recommended for tunnels and touchless automatics. With the right amount of dwell time, these products offer consistent and safe results for the majority of wheels.
