24VAC Dema Solenoid 

This solenoid is constructed of brass with Buna N seals and stainless steel seats. The pilot port releases the pressure on top of the diaphragm allowing incoming pressure to lift it off the large center port when energized. When it's de-energized however,  the solenoid plunger is pushed from the top plug by the kick-off spring and closes the pilot port. The fluid will pass through the diaphragm bleed hold until the pressure is equalized on both sides of the diaphragm to shut off the large port.
