Designed to relieve pressure when systems reach higher pressures than the normal operating pressure of the system. Pressure to trigger pop-off valve is typically set at 15-20% above systems operating pressure. Once pressure exceeds the set point the valve with relieve the pressure. After the pressure drops below the set point the valve will reset itself.
