Banner Sensors S18 Series Emitter

The Banner Sensors S183EQ1 Emitter features specially designed EZ-BEAM style optics and electronics for reliable sensing without adjustments. 20-250VAC with SPST solid-state output 18 mm plastic threaded barrel sensor. Available in opposed, polarized and non-polarized retroreflective, diffuse and fixed-field sensing modes. Dual-LED multi-function indicators for monitoring sensor performance.

Uses:

• Exit Verification (In-Bay Automatic/Rollover): Verifies that vehicle has exited car wash. Signals dryers to turn off. Prompts entry doors to open and admit next vehicle. 
• Teller/Coin Box and Menu Selection (In-Bay Automatic/Rollover): "Wakes up" teller. Doors open when correct code is entered, and previous vehicle has exited bay. Verifies that vehicle has departed coin box area. 
• Undercarriage Wash Trigger (In-Bay Automatic/Rollover and Conveyorized Tunnel): Detects presence of a vehicle while it is in the undercarriage wash zone. Signals the pumps to start/stop undercarriage wash.
• Anti-Collision (Conveyorized Tunnel): Verifies that prior vehicle has exited car wash. Allows conveyor to "eject" car from system to exit the wash.
