Product Description

Medium-Sized 120 Gallon Propane Storage Tank

This 120 gallon propane tank mounts horizontally and is installed above the ground. The 120-gallon capacity refers to the amount of water it can hold and is the common way tanks are sized. A 120-gallon water capacity means that the storage tank can hold up to 100 gallons of propane. This mid-sized propane tank is used for a variety of residential, agricultural, and commercial applications including: ambient heating, cooking, dry cleaning, pool heating, and generators. This type of tank is also known as a 420 pound tank, which refers to the number of pounds of propane the tank holds when filled to 80% of capacity.

Propane is easy to store and refill. Includes an internal gauge within tank lid for simple and convenient refilling. Recommended refilling is between 20-30% capacity.

A twin stage regulator is necessary for tank usage at a safe, working pressure. Propane is odorless, but an odorant is added to it so that it will give off a smell if it's leaking. If you have questions about the operation of your appliance or gas systems, contact your local gas dealer. Practice safety at all times. Never allow your gas container to be filled above the maximum safe level.
